I learned a lot on my first wedding photography experience. There are some things I will do differently next time. For example, I will try to get a copy of the ceremony reading so that I will know where to be to get the best shots. This ceremony was seriously about 15 minutes long. I almost missed some important stuff! I will also have a meeting with the bride and groom to find out exactly what style they are looking for and how they want their wedding documented. I loved that Aaron & Angela were so laid back and gave free range to do as I pleased but I found myself torn at times wondering if this was really how they wanted me to capture certain moments. I just didn't want to disappoint them because weddings are such special and rare occasions.
I will be scheduling an "after wedding" shoot with the newlyweds. Because of wedding planning and raising three kids, they didn't have time to do bridals before the wedding. They also didn't have much time after the ceremony to do newlywed photos so be looking for some dreamy elegant portraits of Angela & Aaron Bergeron in the near future! I can't wait!
